Outreach Ministries
We put our faith into action locally, nationally and globally and seek to tell our story and invite visitors and new members through word-of-mouth and a variety of print and online publications.
- Oxford Ecumenical Council: Food Pantry donations and volunteers; CROP Walk to benefit Church World Service hunger relief;
Good Friday Walk and Community Thanksgiving Service - Bi-monthly Sunday dinner provided to Jeremiah’s Inn in Worcester
- Share Garden – Planting for the season begins in May. All proceeds of the harvest will go to the Oxford Ecumenical Food Shelf for distribution on Thursdays. Anyone interested in participating in this effort, caring for the garden, is urged to contact Ted Cioppa or Cheryl Almstrom.
- Host weekly meetings of AA groups and Girl Scout troops.
- Christmas gifts collected for area organizations and shelters.
- Our Church’s Wider Mission: monetary support for United Church of Christ ministries in the state, nation and the world.
- One Great Hour of Sharing: interdenominational disaster relief donations

- Flyers and notices of events and programs published in print media and online calendars
- At Christmas we make memorials by purchasing Church World Service blankets at a cost of $10.00 for 2 blankets.
